Our admission process is simple and straightforward.

Before you do, make sure you have ready for upload the following documents:

For undergraduate programmes:
a) Passport size photo;
b) Secondary School Diploma;
c) Other diplomas (if you’re applying for exemptions);
d) ID or Passport 

For Master programmes:
All of the above
plus
e) Copy of your UG degree 
f) Academic Transcript
and
g) a CV

Application Fee

Please remember that, in order to process your application, we must receive the relevant application fee: 60 Euro for undergraduate programmes and 80 Euro for postgraduate programmes. You can pay securely and without any additional charges through paypal.

Entry requirements

Undergraduate programmes

Entry requirements are flexible and vary but we generally demand:

For entry into Year 1 (Diploma):
(a) Secondary School Leaving Certificate with a satisfactory mark
OR
(b) 5 GCSEs
OR
(c) the equivalent qualifications (to GCSEs) in your country of education
AND
(d) proof of good use of English (IELTS/TOEFL/GCSE or equivalent) 

For entry into Year 2 (Advanced Diploma):
(a) Diploma in Marketing Management from CIM (BVI)/GBU-Europe
OR
(b) OND/BTEC or equivalent
OR
(c) Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) or similar body
OR
(d) 60 ECTS from an internationally-accredited university in a related field or equivalent credits in the country of your education
 
For entry into Year 3 (Bachelor):
(a) Advanced Diploma from CIM (BVI)/GBU-Europe
OR
(b) HND/BTEC
OR
(c) 120 ECTS from an internationally accredited university in a related field or equivalent credits in the country of your education
OR
(d) Professional qualifications, such as the Professional Diploma in Marketing of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) or the American Institute of Bankers or Chartered Institute of Bankers
OR
(e) Membership of the UK Institute of Certified Chartered Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Chartered Insurance Institute or any other award from relevant professional bodies in the discipline in which you wish to study.
 

Postgraduate programmes

Entry requirements are flexible and are based not only on a candidate’s proven academic ability, motivation, and experience as a manager or business executive, but also on the benefits that he or she is likely to derive from the programme. The usual minimum academic qualifications required are:

(a) A first degree in any discipline from CIM (BVI)/GBU-Europe
OR
(b) A good degree from an internationally-accredited university
OR
(c) A professional qualification in a subject such as Accounting, Marketing, Insurance, Shipping etc., from a Chartered examining body.

English Language Proficiency

For admission to all levels – Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor, or Master – you need to provide evidence of good use of English. You will be exempt from providing an IELTS/TOEFL/Pearson/IGCSE score if you are a native English speaker or if you have graduated from an Anglophone institution within the last five years. However, even in cases where a candidate has graduated from an Anglophone Institution, the Admissions Officer has the right to ask for further proof of good English from the candidate if he or she are not satisfied about their ability to communicate in English.
 
Generally, we demand the following scores: 
  • IELTS: 6.0 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component)
  • TOEFL: 100 internet-based (with a minimum of 25 in each component – internet based) or 623 paper-based.
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 66 (with a minimum of 51 in each component)
  • IGCSE – C
Please note that we do not accept English scores that are over five years’ old at the time of application to the programme. If you do not currently have a TOEFL/IELTS/PTE/IGCSE score report when you submit your application, please indicate the date that you will be taking the test.
 
 
 
**The decision of the Board regarding admissions will be final. No reason for acceptance or rejection will be given to candidates or to anyone else. Global Business University-Europe reserves the right to vary its admission criteria from time to time. The Admissions Officer is responsible for the interpretation of the admission criteria and may impose other conditions to be satisfied before admission.
